The final list of players who have been sold include 25 cricketers among 144 on offer (17 players auctioned in the morning and 8 players in the afternoon). After the morning session was finished, IPL declared that the rest of the players will have to be to be asked for by the franchises. The rule was such that if there is not more than one bidder for the same player, that team will get that player for the base price. Also if there are two teams wanting to take a player, then they have to switch for bidding.
