Kajal Agarwal is very smart and prudent while taking choices of film. At least Kajal is definitely better than many others of her generation. Recently she said a no to Shahid Kapoor Film in Hindi , since she had to sign in for AR Murugadoss’s film which has Vijay in the lead role. She doesn’t agree to act in a Hindi movie for the sake of being called a Bollywood diva. Kajal, who acclaimed fame in Hindi cinema industry with her act opposite Ajay Devgn in ‘Singham’, is in no hurry to make it big in league.
The sizzling actor said no to director Manish Sharma of Shahid Kapoor film. The apparent reason for her declining the Hindi film chance was to accommodate dates for AR Murugadoss’ Tamil film with superstar Vijay.
After the success of the movie ‘Businessman’, Kajal is hot property in the South and she seems to believe that no film in Hindi will give the popularity that a superstar film in the South gives. Her preference for South Indian films is also inferred from the fact that she is said to be keen on listening to stories from Tamil and Telugu Filmmakers.
Earlier last year she had made a controversial statement that she has never considered a south actress. But she later clarified that she was mis-quoted and what she meant was she is not exclusive to south industries and is open to do Hindi films, that her being born and brought up in Mumbai, it irked her when Hindi film industry labeled her a south actress.
Her upcoming films are opposite Ram Charan, Maatraan with Surya and Thuppakki with Vijay.
