Google SMS Channel official site http://labs.google.co.in/smschannels/browse is not working and google has not made any official announcement on the issue yet.
Google has created this service to provide updated information from google or from subscribed SMS groups to the subscribers directly to their mobiles through SMS. Google has been providing this service for free of cost.
