Six matches will be played from Wednesday, 4 April 2012

The schedule of the Indian Premier League 2012 (IPL 5) has been finalized.

IPL 2012 (IPL 5) will feature nine teams and a total of seventy-six matches will be played from Wednesday, 4 April 2012, to Sunday, 27 May 2012.

In the opening game, Chennai Super Kings, the defending champions, will take on the Mumbai Indians, the Champions League T20 winners, at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
