Kings XI Punjab 2012 Team Squad:The team which is based in Punjab for the IPL is Kings XI Punjab which will be playing their 5th edition of the Indian Premier League. THe team was lead by Yuvraj SIngh in the first 3 tournaments but after the IPL 2011 Auction it was Adam Gilchris who will be taking Charge for the team. Kings XI Punjab had a poor IPL history so far and that is somthing they would like to change.
Team is owned by Preity Zinta, Karan Paul (Apeejay Surendera Group) and Mohit Burman (Dabur). They play their home matches on two ground which are
PCA Stadium (Capacity: 30,000)
HPCA Stadium (Capacity: 21,000)There were concerns for the teams participation in the 2011 season but after mutual agreement between BCCI and KXIP they managed to be part of the League and went on to buy some great players.
